The Practice

The medical practice at The Orchard is a four doctor partnership. The premises were purpose built in 1958, one of the first such premises in the locality.

Orchard Surgery logo The present partnership was established in 2009 and offers the full range of General Medical Services based on modern family practice, while, we hope, retaining many of the traditional qualities appreciated by patients. We are a computerised practice and are bound by the Data Protection Act 1998.

From time to time we have 1st 2nd and 3rd year Medical Students with us and they sit-in on consultations. Third year students conduct some consultations with a GP present, and always with patients’ consent.

Our Practice covers an area of approximately a 3 mile radius from Bromborough.

Disabled Access

The surgery is a single storey building and has access via an outside ramp. Once inside, the waiting area and corridor to the consulting rooms has space for wheelchair users. A specially adapted toilet is also available for patient use. There is also a designated parking place at the front of the building.

Premises

We are currently having a new two storey surgery built at the back of the existing surgery and the estimated completion date for this is early 2012.

Parking

Please note that during building works there is no parking at the surgery. Disabled patients can park on the road outside as long as they display badges. If anyone needs asistance getting into the building please ask at reception.
